The Chinese Medical Doctor Association was established in January 2002. It is a national level social organization with independent legal personality, and is a national, industrial, and non-profit organization voluntarily composed of practicing physicians and practicing assistant physicians. It marks a milestone in the transformation of China's physician team management from a single health administrative management model to a coordinated management model of health administrative management and industry self-discipline.
